Peterson Regional Medical Center’s Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU) serves patients with stroke, brain and spinal cord injuries, trauma, neurological disorders, orthopedic injuries, and medically complex conditions. Regionally renowned for a caring and progressive focus on rehabilitation, the ARU is a place to heal. Our patients come to us for the hope, confidence, and treatment needed to face changes in their lives after an accident, illness, or injury. The ARU at Peterson Regional Medical Center (PRMC) is the only inpatient rehabilitation unit in the Hill Country. Our centralized location allows patients from Kerr and surrounding counties to receive the quality of care they need, in a community close to home. We are accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO).
